Smart Meter Data Health
Smart meter data is usually reported in half-hourly readings. A typical full day has 48 readings, although daylight saving changes and supplier processing can create edge cases.
Data can also arrive late. A missing reading does not mean zero usage, and it should not be treated as proof that no electricity was used.
Why Readings Can Be Missing
- Supplier systems may receive readings later than expected.
- Connectivity issues can delay smart meter data.
- Daylight saving changes can make daily slot counts less straightforward.
- Account or meter changes can affect what data is available.
How Agile Hub Treats Gaps
Agile Hub is designed to make missing data visible rather than pretending it is usage. This keeps guidance clearer and avoids turning unknown readings into false certainty.
Agile Hub provides guidance only. Your supplier bill and account remain the source of truth for usage, charges, meter details and any corrected readings.
